– MIA –

Been MIA for a few weeks.

I am really working on trying to practice what I preach so to speak – and so dropped the social media ball in order to keep my other priorities in the air.

We are super small – as you know – and super dedicated to doing the best we can, and getting the best outcomes we can, for everyone we work with, and inevitably that means that we sometimes can’t do it all.

As often comes up with the families and young people we work with – it’s totally OK (and actually very healthy) to know your boundaries and your limits and to step out for a bit when you need to. It protects your mental health and is a great example of energy accounting.

It also helps show our young people that we aren’t perfect either – and that they don’t need to be perfect to be acceptable or healthy or loved.

Things have calmed down a little here – so hopefully we’ll be back to posting more regularly – but please keep expecting some turbulence as we travel through our different seasons and balance things out as we adjust 💜
