An amazing kind of side effect of the work that I do is that I now get to be in community with this amazing group, this really incredible group of women who are putting their kids first, who are bucking the system, who are nonconforming and doing exactly what needs to be done so that their kids can live positive lives where they don’t need to be carrying around all that generational sh*t from the past and society’s projections of how they should be. It is such an honour to do this work and I feel so grateful that what I do allows me to do that, and to sort of finally find a place that I belong in that group of women as well
